Very large, furnished double room with your own personal bathroom, in a cosy and stylish flatshare in leafy West Didsbury. It’s airy, very spacious with nice high ceilings, and comes with all the mod cons. Available on Sept 21st as my flatmate is moving out then.

This share would suit a career professional who is looking for a peaceful and quiet home, within which to enjoy downtime and personal space after a busy day :-) So if you’re looking for a lively flatshare, unfortunately this isn't the one for you.

Individuals over 30 are preferred. Comprehensive tenant referencing will be required prior to acceptance by the landlord. No smokers, students, or pets (sorry).

Description

- A very spacious double bedroom including furnishings (bed, cabinet drawer, bedside table etc.)
- Personal exclusive use of the main bathroom – my room has its own en-suite.
- A spacious kitchen with ample storage, equipped with a fridge freezer, dishwasher, washing machine etc.
- Use of an on-site residential car park – more than enough spaces and no permit is required.

- A brand new heating system only installed in mid-2023 (keeps the flat toasty whilst keeping the gas bill down).
- Excellent location: walking distance to both Didsbury Village and Burton Road, and great local amenities (bars/restaurants) and transport links - the nearest Metrolink Station is only 5 minutes’ walk away.
- A genuinely great landlord who truly looks after the flat and the people in it e. g. our oven ‘conked out’ earlier this year and within a few days, he had already replaced it with a brand-new unit. He’s a rare gem of a landlord.
- EPC rating: C Council tax band: D.

A bit about myself: I'm a friendly but career-focused energy engineer, and enjoy the outdoors, travelling, cooking and spending time with my girlfriend Rose. I'd consider myself clean, tidy, trustworthy and easy to get on with - I expect the same from a future flatmate.

Rose will be moving to the area in December, and will likely be spending a lot of time in the flat. We’re both friendly people, but we equally like our own space and will often be out-and-about doing ‘couple stuff’, so I want to find somebody who will respect my/our privacy. We will happily return the favour, of course (because of this, you would have the communal spaces to yourself, a lot of the time).

Bills and council tax are not included and would be split both ways. Average monthly cost is £180 each. So, you would need to comfortably budget £850 pcm in total.
