RENT EXCLUSIVE OF BILLS. £695 pcm for Rent in West Didsbury.
Average bills price breakdown:
Council Tax - £91 (25% discount for solo occupant through Manchester Council)
Gas / Elect - £60-£90 dependant on usage for solo occupant
Water - £49
Broadband - not included (I hotspot from my mobile)
Laundry Services in the basement of building. Industrial Washer / Dryer. (£20 credits for it, can be arranged with landlord)
I require someone living in my flat for 3/4 months, looking after the place and Katya, as if they were yours. And they will be for that period of time:)
This place is a mezzanine studio, where your bedroom is higher up looking down on the main living rom space (accesible via a ladder for you, and a carpet ramp for Katya lol).
There's no room to stand-up in the mezzanine, but you can comfortably sit-up. And no, it doesn't feel claustrophobic (that was also one of my worries as I moved in, and it never bothered me), I actually find it very cozy and comforting, being up there, sleeping, reading or watching a movie on a rainy Sunday. I have a 27" Imac up there, which will stay, for perfect for movie nights in.
My flat is situated in the heart of West Didsbury, with Lapwing Lane shops, bars and restaurants, 3 minutes away from your doorstep.
West Didsbury Tram stop - 3 mins away
Lively Burton Road - 10 mins walk - where you'll find great pubs, cafes, restaurants, Tesco Extra and a COOP. And also another tram stop, Burton road.
East Didsbury is only a 12/15 mins walk, where you'll find more options of shops, restaurants and bars. More of a High street vibe, but still feeling very local. M&S, Aldi, Tesco, and loads of great charity shops for cool finds.
Famous La Chouquette Bakery - 20 mins walk - with amazing bread and pastries and sweet treats (French Style) - same way towards FLETCHER MOSS gardens / park.
Beautiful Japanese landscaped gardens, perfect for a stroll, whatever time of the day.
And River Mersey walk, just down the forest from Fletcher Moss.
If you into nature, and more of a local feeling, Didsbury is a great place. You're not too far from Manchester town centre (25-30 mins tram journey), but far enough to be surrounded by beautiful parks, houses, green, birds, and great independent local businesses.
