Double room in three storey townhouse with parking

We have a beautiful newly decorated and refurbished double bedroom available in our three storey townhouse in Hartley Hall Gardens, Whalley Range, South Manchester, and we are looking for a lodger, ideally for a Monday-Friday let.

The house is modern, light, warm and welcoming, with a shared living room and well equipped kitchen, a garden, and a private, secure parking space available outside the house if you have a car. The room is not en-suite, however the lodger will have priority use of the beautiful first floor bathroom.

It is located in a quiet, leafy area, very close to Alexandra Park, 20 mins walk to Chorlton, and there is a bus stop just around the corner to get to and from Manchester city centre. It’s also a good area for getting about by bike, and very close to the M56.

I share the house with my husband (we have the top floor of the house) and one cat. My husband works full time as a graphic designer, and I am a clothing designer and work from home: I have a studio in the house.

We love food and know many good food shops in Chorlton. We would be very happy to share meals whenever that suits.

Although we have quite a quiet life at home, we enjoy socialising and have a large network of friends in the area, and often go to art exhibitions and music events. We both keep fit in our different ways, including, running, swimming, cycling, squash and yoga.
