Description
Fully furnished, top-floor, spacious room with plenty of sunlight in a warm and clean house in Whalley Range. Just a 15-minute walk to Chorlton tram stop and a 7-minute walk to the bus no. 85 from Alexandra Park, which takes you to the town centre and universities in about 20 minutes.
The house is a three-storey, well-insulated, modern building with high ceilings, creating a spacious, warm, and bright atmosphere. Your room is on the top floor, sharing a clean bathroom with a friendly female lodger. The communal kitchen area is on the ground floor, featuring bi-fold glass doors, two skylight windows, a large table, a bench, a chaise longue, and plenty of space to sit, relax, and cook whenever you like. You are welcome to use this space and all the kitchen equipment and utensils available.
We are a warm and welcoming community, happy to have new people around. The kitchen is often the meeting point for catching up and socialising, yet everyone has their own quiet space. I live with my son (age 13) who stays with me every other week, and two cats, who are often outside and won’t disturb you much if you are not a cat lover.
We have a lovely neighbourhood and have done lots of alleyway greening, fostering a real sense of community here.
I am an academic and work mainly from home. This accommodation suits international postgraduate students, visiting fellows, or professionals.
Please get in touch with me for more information.
