We have a vacancy in our lovely 4 bedroom house in Whalley Range. We are a calm, friendly and respectful household looking to welcome a like-natured housemate to see it as their home. Just FYI: weed-smoking is not permitted inside or near the house.
The house: the vacant double bedroom is on the first floor and is partially furnished (bed optional) and has a whole wall of built in wardrobes and shelves for lots of storage. It looks out on to the front garden. It has an en suite toilet and shower.
We have two downstairs lounges and a big dining kitchen and utility room to share, with washing machine, iron etc. And a handy downstairs toilet. We have a huge back garden and a garage for bikes, and a drive at the front for parking.
We're more of a quiet, occasional chats household than a telly-watching one - hence we have no shared TV. We tend to spend screen-time in our own rooms.
Housemates: We are all working people so housemates need to do their share of household chores and cleaning. We do like peace and a fairly orderly environment but are also sociable and easy-going. We hope our new housemate would be straight-forward, chilled and considerate, and very used to sharing living spaces.
We positively welcome people from the Queer and Trans community and wouldn't welcome people who are not Queer and Trans-friendly .
The house is 15 mins walk from Chorlton Metro, and 5 mins walk to buses to Mcr city centre. 8 mins walk to Alexandra Park. 5 mins to Co-op.
Bills per month, which are not included in the rent, are around £150 which includes broadband and gardener.
