Room in Whalley Range with garden and cat

Hiya!

I live in a 2 bed end of terrace house on a quiet Cul De Sac just off Upper Chorlton Road in Whalley Range. I'm looking to rent out the smaller room from 15 July as my lovely lodger is moving in with her bf to have a lil bebito.

I'm looking for £500 rent and the bills on average will be £175 each per month including leccy, council tax (which is a frustratingly expensive bill), water and internet.

I’ve lived here for 3 years and love the area – its close to Alexandra Park and Seymour Park, 5 min walk from Carlton Club, next to Chorlton but also you can be in the City Centre in 10 minutes either by cycling or by the 86 bus which stops just outside my street.

The room is furnished with a small double bed with divan storage, a very cute wardrobe, shelves, a chest of drawers and a bedside table. It is South facing so lots of sun.

We will have a shared living room, bathroom with shower over bath and kitchen. A decent amount of cupboard and freezer space is available as well as pots/pans/cutlery/plates to share.

Your pets are welcome if you have any and I have a friendly sleepy cat called Bernard. Bernard does have FIV so if you have a cat be aware of that as of course there would be some risk of your cat catching this if they live together. I'm hoping to start fostering dogs soon so a flatmate who would be keen on this would be ideal.

A bit about me - I'm an early to bed early to rise gal most of the time with occasional blowouts. Love festivals in the summer. Clean and tidy and would love a housemate who is also. I work as a yoga teacher and for a community garden and I'm into nature, health, organic growing, community projects, movement/exercise/calisthenics/yoga, good food, alternative and herbal medicine, going camping, lil creative projects and I'm open minded in regards to others sexuality and drug use (or lack of).

I'm probably 60% extrovert 40% introvert and will respect your space but also enjoy a good natter. I like to be social out and about but generally like home to be a peaceful and quiet place tho it's nice to have friends round!

Furniture is different to the photos, these pics are from a few years ago when the previous owners lived here and I nabbed their pics off the old advert. You will have a double bed not the single bed in the picture. I'll update the pics when I'm back in mcr as I'm away atm!

Your creative input to the house is welcome whether it's art on the walls, houseplants, growing things in the garden, rearranging stuff etc. Someone who like to grow things is especially welcome as I never get round to giving the little garden enough love and it's South West facing so has lots of potential.

There is loads of free parking on my street and a spot right outside the house.
