Calm, comfortable room close to city centre

Shout out for a lesbian professional housemate for the spare room in my vegetarian/vegan, eco friendly and non-smoking home.

My home is a lovely large, light and airy townhouse, inside and out, arranged on 3 floors. On the ground floor there is a separate utility room with a washing machine and drying space, and downstairs toilet.

There is a spacious paved garden/ yard at the back of the house and a balcony which catches the evening sun (during summer months-obviously!) at the front.

You can park off road, at the front of the house.
There’s space in the garage for your bike -if you like to cycle.

It’s is close to the universities and hospitals, and about 15 mins drive to Manchester city centre/Media City; a 20 minute walk to the Metro stop and a few minutes walk from bus stops. It's about 30 min bus ride from the city centre-depending on traffic/time of day.

Take a short walk to Chorlton where there are cafes, delis, bars, independent shops and an organic grocery. A shorter walk away, there’s a small Tesco, pharmacies, fresh veg store & take outs.

Just up the road there's Alexandra Park - great for a stroll/jog...and a cuppa in the cafe! Close by there is a leisure centre with gym & swimming pool (sauna & steam room).

I enjoy my own space, whilst still being friendly and sociable. I may occasionally have another guest working in local Theatres. Would suit professional lesbian/ MA/PHD students.
