North Barn Rural Location

Welcome to North Barn. We are a 4 bedroom 3 bathroom property in the heart of Whitworth Village. We are close to all local amenities. You will have your own double bedroom, your own bathroom which has a separate power shower. You will have your own sitting room which is close to the kitchen which will be shared between us all. We will have to pass through your sitting room to access the kitchen. You will have your own fridge and freezer. If you do some home working you can have access to a desk within our home office. We are a laid back, peaceful family, I work in the NHS fulltime Monday to Friday, and my son attends University in Manchester. We have a dog, who is medium sized, a cat and a house rabbit. Our pets are friendly and have a warm welcome each time you come home.
At weekends we enjoy walks with our dog, trips to see our family, and the odd glass of wine in front of the TV. We have Sky TV with sports, Netflix, Prime and Disney +, which you will also have full access during your stay with us. We would expect you to clean your own rooms including the bathroom, as we don't have a cleaner. We would expect you to clean up after yourself in the kitchen. There is a dishwasher you can make use of. There is also a washing machine and dryer in the garage which you will also have access to. I would ask in the nicer weather the dryer use is kept to a minimum.
Within the village there is a Tesco Express, Co-Op, doctors, dentist, pharmacy, gym, park, various pubs, and the moors on the doorstep for lovely walks. There is a reservoir which has watersports. These are all within walking distance of home.
Buses run very regularly going either way up to Bacup and beyond or down to Rochdale where you can connect with the train or tram. If you like the sound of us and our home, come and pay us a visit to see if you would like to come and live with us for a while.
