Double room in cosy Withington terrace

Hey!
We’re looking for a new housemate to join us in our lovely 3-bed house in the heart of Withington.

The Room:
It’s a good-sized room, furnished with a double bed, bedside table, dressing table, wardrobe and chest of drawers.

The House:
The place has a really homely feel, with a great sociable open-plan kitchen, dining and living space. Out the back, there’s a cosy yard/garden with rattan furniture, a table and chairs, BBQ and firepit — perfect for relaxing or having friends over. There’s also space to store a bike indoors if needed.

Location:
We’re in a great spot with excellent transport links into town — multiple bus routes within 5 minutes’ walk, and Burton Road and Withington tram stops about 10–15 minutes away. Easy access to the M60 and M56 via Princess Parkway.
The bars and restaurants of West Didsbury’s Burton Road are just a 10–15 minute walk, and the local Co-op is 3 minutes away. Withington Baths and Hough End Leisure Centre are also just around the corner.

Current Housemates:
We’re Paul (36), who works in energy, and Jess (33), a trainee therapist, art business owner and barista. We’re open-minded, friendly and sociable — love a good chat over a glass of wine and the odd night out for dinner/ drinks, but also really appreciate our downtime and a good chill. We enjoy cooking, watching TV together, keeping fit, getting out on a good hike and music/gigs.

If you’re looking for a house that feels like a home, where you can be yourself and make friends out of your housemates, you’ve found the right place.

The Boring Bit:
We like to keep the house clean and tidy, but are not absolute strict clean freaks. More than anything, we’re just respectful of each other.

Rent & Bills:
Rent is £520 per month (paid directly to the landlord), excluding bills. Bills currently come to around £135 per month each.
Move-in date: 1st December.
