Double Bedroom for Rent in Cosy Withington House

Hi there!

WHAT I’M LOOKING FOR:

I'm looking for a fellow, young professional to come and live with me and my friendly cat, Renton in our beautiful home in Withington.

But first, here's a bit about me! My name's Sasha, I'm 23 and I work in film production as a full-time videographer. I LOVE movie nights, cooking, drinking and anything artsy and I'm looking for someone to share those hobbies with.

Whilst this let is only for 5 months, I'm looking for someone sociable who's up for making a new friend as part of this living process. I feel it's important that living with someone should be a good balance of respecting each other's space and privacy, but also having bits and bobs in common.

I am a very clean and tidy individual, so ask that the person joining me is as well! I occasionally have friends over as well as my partner, so encourage that whoever is lucky enough to join me here uses our home as a safe space to socialize too! However, I'm not big on mass gatherings or parties as such so please keep this in mind.

Should probably also mention the cat! Renton is a two-year-old ginger and white cat, who is very sweet and friendly. It’s really important to me that whoever comes to live with us enjoys his company as much as I do. So if you’re a cat person, that’s a win! I would never ask for anything other than for you to occasionally pop some food out for him if I am late home from work at times.

THE HOUSE:

The house is based in a small close just down the road from Withington Baths. It’s a fantastic area with Withington High Street and Burton Road just a 10-minute walk away. Both streets have great bars, coffee shops and restaurants so highly recommend you have a visit!

The house has a living room area, which I’ve already set up my TV in for you to use as much as you’d like. A small dining space, a decent-sized kitchen and a back garden with a shed. Then my room at the top of the stairs, a shared bathroom with a shower and bath and then the second bedroom…which could be yours!

THE ROOM FOR RENT:

The room is very cute and looks out onto the main street. It has a built in closet for additional storage and comes with a king sized bed, a bedside table and a chest of drawers. There is room for additional pieces of furniture should you want to bring some too :)

ESTIMATED COSTS:

The deposit for the room is £700.00, which will be returned in February next year should things be kept nice. The room itself is £675.00 each month plus bills which is calculated at about £170.00 additional.

This includes Electricity/Gas, Water, Broadband and Council Tax (Band B). That's about £845.00 in total each month which would be transferred to myself as all the bills and rent are in my name. Please bare in mind this is an estimated cost and the amount may fluctuate based on times of year with heating/hot water use etc.
