Description
We’ve got a room in our 4-bed furnished house that we’re looking for someone to fill asap - £520 rent, bills ends up making it roughly £600-620 total. I believe we’re council tax band B (but double check with me as it’s my housemate that handles that). We’ve already set up the bills (including wifi) so you wouldn’t need to stress.
Tenancy runs from july-june, but two of us (pictured) want to stay here, we’ve found a replacement for one housemate, and the other wants to move out asap to be closer to family.
We are very laid back and calm, have good sense of humour and enjoy a mix of staying in watching films, solo time, and household socialising, so no judgement if you’d rather hang out in your room. We’re a pretty clean household (if a little untidy sometimes) and fully stocked on pots/pans and general kitchen equipment.
The house is in west didsbury, 1-min walk from Burton Road tram stop and about 5 mins from the bus stops. We’re about 1 minute from multiple shops, cafes, and pubs. There are three gyms close by if that’s your thing, and multiple parks within walking distance.
Landlord is very chill - she fixes what’s broken and otherwise isn’t bothered. The house is furnished and a bit dated decor-wise, but we’ve turned it pretty cosy and fun (please note- these photos are from our original viewing (with the old tenants’ belongings) but not much has changed) and we don’t find that there’s any bathroom conflicts as we’re all good at keeping to our schedules and letting people know beforehand if we’re going to be in there a while.
General amenities (may have forgotten some!)
- dishwasher and majority of kitchen gadgets, crockery, pans etc
- washer, dryer, space for airers if you’d prefer
- hoover, ironing board, clothes steamer
- parking on the drive available after July
- garden (technically shared with neighbours but we’re the only ones who use it)
- printer
