URGENT: Cheapest house in Withington

Hi!

We are looking for a housemate to join us in our very cheap house share in Withington. Our current housemate Jake is leaving on Monday 12th November, and has only been able to qive a few days notice due to unforeseen circumstances. We are therefore looking for someone who can take it at that date or as close to it as possible.

You would be sharing with 2 guys and 1 girl, all in our twenties. Ideally we are looking for a sociable person who roughly falls into our age bracket and wouldn't say no to occasionally joining us for a film or a beer. Music is a big passion for us and it'd be great if the new housemate shared this too. Lea is an art student at MMU and Josh and Albert are both professionals.

The house has a nice and secluded garden, which is great for BBQs/parties in the summer. The living room is a good size and has a large TV with internet linked up. We also have a driveway space if you own a car.

The house is in a brilliant location:

-5 minutes walk to Wilmslow Road - buses run pretty much every minute to Uni/town from here .
-10 minutes walk to Fallowfield, with plenty of shops and lots of great bars.
-10 minutes walk to Mauldeth Road train station, which is itself a 5 minute train to Manchester Piccadilly.

Rent is only £250 a month, which includes most bills

Gas & Electricity is £47 a month each, so it's under £300 all in.

There is a £333 refundable deposit that you will get back when you move out.


There is no minimum contract but we need at least a month notice when you leave. If you leave before we have reasonable time to find a replacement, any shortfall in rent to the landlord has to come from your deposit.

Smokers welcome but the landlord asks that it has to be kept outside.
