We are a gay couple working with the airlines at Manchester Airport and have a large 4 bedroom house. We are a 10 minute walk to the airport, 8 minute walk to the train station (20 mins to city centre), 8 minute walk to Wythenshawe Civic Centre, Gym, Shops and Tram. Bus stop is just around the corner next to the house.
We have an amazing and beautifully furnished master bedroom which we are looking to rent out. It consists of a large king size bedroom offering room for storage and comes furnished with a king size bed, side tables, 2 x double wardrobe, chest of drawers, mirror and armchair. The room also has an active Virgin TV Box with full access excluding the paid sports channels. It does have access to full subscriptions for Netflix, Amazon Prime and Disney Plus. The house is completely refurbished and beautifully furnished. It has a fenced front yard, private and well appointed back yard with a beautiful garden, private seating, BBQ facilities and gazebo. Secure lockable off-road parking for 3 cars. The house has a downstairs toilet, shared upstairs bathroom consisting of a roll top bath and shower, gas fire, central gas heating, extremely well appointed kitchen with large double oven, 8 burner gas hob, dishwasher, 3 fridges, 3 freezers, utility room with washer & tumble dryer, high speed fibre optic broadband, Netflix, Amazon Prime, Apple TV, Disney +, Discovery Plus, Starzplay, full Virgin TV package, great links to local transportation, bus, tram, train, shopping centre and local pubs. Ring Doorbell and alarm system is fitted. We have two lovable indoor female cats. The room would ideally suit airline or shift worker, but not essential. As we are airline employees we are shift workers which requires some night shifts and weekends.
We have a weekly cleaning service which is an additional £15 per week, payable one month in advance with the lodging each month. All utilities and bills included. There is a shared kitty for household sundries (cleaning products, toilet paper, dishwasher and laundry detergents etc etc.) which is £15 per month payable with the rent each month and used to stock everything the house needs to run.
We have a quiet and clean home and love to cook so there is always great smells and great food to share, but we appreciate the favour be returned ha ha ha.
We are relaxed, drama free, social and enjoy to unwind with our flatmates over a glass of wine or a beer. We are respectful and communicate well so anything that ever needs to be discussed by anyone in the house can be done so openly and handled straight away without issue.
