I have a large 3 bedroom house that overlooks the hills from Ebbw Vale just above the town centre. There is plenty of space here. I am an easy going professional whom splits my time around the country and abroad for work.
The house is split over 3 levels. If you need accessibility this is not for you! There is a spacious kitchen/dining area.
On occasion my girlfriend and her children and dog may visit. When here I do work from home so do need quiet space but given the size of the place that should not be a problem.
Parking is a pain. You can always get somewhere but it might be 20-30 yards down the street. Besides that it is a great area and lovely neighbours. To be clear the rent includes the all bills including council tax internet, and utilities and have no intention of changing that.
All bills are included, and it will an uncharged tenancy agreement. This just means it is a lodger agreement and gives us both flexibility.
I get along with most people and more so with people that apply themselves. If you speak a second language I would love to learn!
There is fast internet, a washer/dryer, and patio out the back with a nice view as you can see.
Me: I'm originally from the US and have lived in the UK since 2004. Having raised my children and many holidays in Wales I decided this was the place for me next to the Beacons (and the Moors in Devon) next to nature.
The nature of my job requires anyone staying to be a UK citizen or a permanent resident visa holder that has lived in the UK for at least 10 years.
Roommate: I have one other person living at the property for the last year. He is a very quiet working professional around 30. He works remotely with regular train trips into Cardiff.
You: As long as you are tidy and friendly professional then chances are this is a great neighbourhood to live in for you! Anyone looking for something temporary (no more than a year) is preferred. If you happen to smoke, you can do so on the balcony in back but not in the house.
