The house is minutes from junction 28 of the M4 so easily commutable to Bristol (35mins) or Cardiff (15mins). There is a Tesco store just 3mins away, a Lidl store within walking distance, along with endless shops, restaurants and coffee houses all minutes from the house. Newport train station is a 5min drive, there are several gyms nearby, 2 cinemas within 10min drive and lots of parks/green areas to walk - closest is Tredegar Park.
The room available is a double room with a double ottoman bed (for extra storage) and a large triple wardrobe. You will have your own family bathroom, that has a bath & shower - this will not be used by anyone other than yourself. The room is for 1 person only.
The house has a third bedroom (currently my office), a downstairs WC, a kitchen/diner with all built in appliances (inc dishwasher) and a nice sized living room. There is a south facing garden with artificial lawn and a patio and there is a driveway for 2 cars. The house has fast wifi, security cameras, Ring doorbell, Alexas, smart heating/bulbs and Netflix on the TV.
I am looking for a single professional that has experience of sharing. Almost everything in the house is new so I am looking for a tenant that is clean, tidy and respectful of other people’s belongings. You will need to be a dog lover - I have 2 senior dogs that share the home although they will not go near your private spaces.
I work from home and ideally looking for someone that doesn’t work from home to ensure we’re not ‘on-top of each other’ all the time.
The room can be rented at £750 and can be rented short term from 1 month onwards. If you are looking for a longer stay then this can be discussed and I’m happy to do a rolling contract up to 6 months - there may be scope to then make this long term but can be discussed. The rent is inclusive of all bills. References will also be requested.
