City centre double room to rent

City centre property with a spare room available close to the M4 and a 5 minute walk from Newport train station.

A double room is available to rent in a spacious semi-detached period property with the use of a sofa bed (temporary), a double wardrobe, desk and chest of drawers. Furniture can be replaced with your own. .

There is a living room available for use. A garden is also available for use.

The property is decorated and maintained to a very high standard. A clean and tidy housemate is expected. Someone who is willing to help with general cleaning would be appreciated, but not expected other than their own bedroom and after use of communal areas.

The existing occupant works from home and will be in the house during normal working hours.

On street parking is available.

There is one shared bathroom with a walk in shower and freestanding bath. I do expect the bathroom to be cleaned after use, the same rule applies to the kitchen in order to keep the communal areas hygienic for all.

Viewings are available and all applicants will need to provide a DBS check.
