Quiet double room for professional

I’m looking for a considerate, easy-going professional to rent a furnished double room in the home I share with my girlfriend in Glan Llyn, Newport (NP19).We’re friendly and relaxed, and we’re looking for someone who would enjoy a calm, comfortable home rather than a party house. We naturally respect one another’s privacy: the kitchen and living room are shared, while bedrooms and personal belongings are private. I work full-time, usually from home between approximately 9am and 6pm, so I’m looking for someone who is mindful of noise during those hours. Normal everyday living and conversations are absolutely fine, but loud music, television or extended speakerphone calls in shared areas wouldn’t be suitable while I’m working. Someone with a fairly regular daytime routine would probably be the most natural fit, although this isn’t a strict requirement. The room is a good size, and the photos show its current layout. It includes a desk, cupboard and wardrobe, giving you a proper workspace and plenty of storage. You’ll share the kitchen and living room with us. The family bathroom will mainly be for your use, although it remains shared and we may use it occasionally. It has a bath with an overhead shower and glass shower screen. Glan Llyn is a modern, generally quiet estate close to Newport Retail Park and Spytty Road, approximately a 10–15-minute walk away. There are regular buses into Newport city centre, and Junction 24 of the M4 is a short drive away, providing easy access to Cardiff and Bristol. Newport railway station is also easily accessible by car or bus, with direct services to Cardiff, Bristol and London. The room is for single occupancy. Occasional visitors or overnight guests are absolutely fine—we would simply appreciate a little notice beforehand. We’re looking for someone who naturally cleans up after themselves in shared areas and is comfortable living in a friendly but independent household.
