Just outside Bangor but easy to get to on bus, car or bike. Room to rent with live in landlord. Its all about flexibility , in house with one other currently although partner does stay over. based in Rachub, 4 miles from Bangor. House is in a quiet location with mod cons, internet access etc. Rachub has a convenience store and post office and pub!. Spacious character accomodation with slate and stripped pine wooden floors, comprising shared lounge / kitchen/ diner, utility room, and pleasant garden plenty of seating areas, patio and decking outside. Comfortable furnished upstairs bedroom with use of shared downstairs bathroom with bath and decent electric shower. Gas central heating and wood burner in lounge. Parking outside not great but ok. On bus route 15 minutes from Bangor. Included in the rent are the water rates, and WIFI. Gas and electric costs are shared and electric paid via a pre-payment meter. 25% council tax additional cost as lose single occupancy discount. The house is currently occupied by me - I work in bangor regular hours, but currently working at home. I’m gay and attached. like to keep the house clean and tidy but by no means too fussy about things. The house has had extensive upgrades There is also a shed that can be utilised for storage although is pretty packed at moment! Smokers who are happy to smoke outside are welcome. New occupant needs to be able to drive a Hoover and mop and be able to know when a tidy up is required. House is not a palace by any means but a nice comfortable, if not a little quirky!, bolt hole with great access for the hills if that's your thing.
