The bathroom is fairly large, very well lit and has a w/c, sink, extractor fan, and shower/bath combination.
The flat is on the first floor, situated on Normandy Street only minutes from three supermarkets and both Alton town and the train station. It is Grade Two listed, and I have tried to keep to a rustic style throughout. You have full access to a very large combined living room and dining area. The living room has a 42 inch HD Free-View television, together with DVD/Blu-Ray surround sound player.
The kitchen is suitably sized and has everything you would need. There is a large fridge-freezer, washing machine, dish washer, gas oven and gas hobs, sink, draining sink, and plenty of storage space. There is also a George Foreman grill, fruit and veg juicer, slow cooker, as well as the usual toaster, kettle, food processor, iron, and ironing board. I can provide a clothes rack for you to dry your wet clothes if you like.
I am a live-in landlord and the only other person in the flat. I am easy-going, relaxed and unobtrusive. If there are any issues you can always ask me about them. I like to sort out any repairs quickly, but will always let you know before entering your room. I ask that you treat the flat as your own, but please tidy up after yourselves and keep your room liveable.
With the rent, all bills are included. This includes Council Tax, gas and electric, and high speed Wi-Fi Broadband. Rent would need to be paid by Direct Debit as this would simplify everything. I ask for one month’s rent in advance for the deposit. The room will be free at the very beginning of July. I work shifts so please call to arrange a viewing.
