Description
One double room available in a house share in Andover.
A little bit about me. After experiencing enough bad landlords, I took it upon myself to try to show that landlords can be quite the opposite. I make myself very available to my tenants, I am friendly, young (or at least I think so...), understanding, and approachable. I encourage a good, friendly atmosphere within the house and do my best to resolve problems when anything happens to spoil this. I find my tenants tend to stay for around 2 to 4 years with me, often forced to be moving to relocate for new jobs rather than trying to just improve their home life, which to me says a lot.
To note, I also do everything 100% by the book. So I take 1 months rent as a security deposit and hold this within one of the government approved deposit schemes. This secures your deposit for your own safety, and I do not earn anything from it while holding it.
The property is a 15-minute walk from the town centre and the same from the train station. It is also only 1 minute from a bus stop at the end of the road.
There are 6 bedrooms in this property ranging from 8m2 to over 11m2 in size.
There are 2 separate bathrooms for the 6 bedrooms to share. One has a bathtub, toilet, and sink. The other is a wet room with a shower, toilet, and sink.
Each bedroom, except the smallest 2 rooms, will have double beds, a wardrobe, and a beside table provided. The smallest rooms will have the same, but with a single bed instead.
This being said, the house is licensed for an occupancy of 6. So, each room can only be let to single individuals. No couples are allowed to stay.
There is TV and broadband provided.
There are 2 fridge freezers to allow enough space for everyone to store their food, as well as plenty of cupboard space for each room to store all your cooking utensils, etc.
There is also a washing machine and a separate tumble drier available to share.
There will be a weekly clean from a cleaning company for all the communal areas. However, it will be expected that each tenant tidies up after themselves when using any of them, i. e. kitchen/bathroom, etc. Also, it will be expected that each tenant will be responsible for keeping their room clean, which will not be covered by the cleaner.
Please let me know if you have any questions.
Thanks very much,
Jon
