The room is available for a working professional, and strictly SINGLE OCCUPANCY ONLY, NO COUPLES. Sorry, but those on benefits or unemployed (such as a student) need not apply.
The house is a 4 bedroom end-terraced property, (The lounge was converted into a bedroom). It's located only 5 minutes walk from the town center shops, bus station and rail station. Property post code is SP10 3PX.
Advertising a large double bedroom, bright and comfortable. Pleasantly decorated and furnished. Professionally cleaned prior to new occupancy. Two built-in cupboards (one being a full height wardrobe), both with hanging rails, plenty of storage. Double glazed windows. TV aerial point (but you would need to obtain a license, it's not provided). Radiator has a thermostatic valve. Quality bedroom key operated door lock/security. Brand new mattress protector provided. Indoor clothes hanging frame provided (for those wet days when you need to dry your things indoors).
There is Virgin Media M350 broadband/WiFi service provided. The VM hub is downstairs and there is also a hard-wired TP WiFi extender installed on the upstairs landing, to ensure max available speed throughout the house.
Requirements such as; annual Gas Boiler and Gas Safety cert, Electrical Installation Check cert etc valid and provided.
NO smoking or vaping permitted in the house at anytime.
The rear garden has a patio, garden bench, graveled area, rotary clothes line and lockable garden shed. The garden can be accessed either via rear gate or back door. There is a key security box outside, should one ever lose their key !!
The kitchen and dining area is spacious and fully equipped with all one needs (But NO clothes drying machine). Lots of fridge and freezer space.
There is a downstairs cloakroom (toilet and sink). Plenty of storage in the hallway cupboard. Upstairs bathroom with bath, thermostatic power shower (shower glass and curtain over bath), sink, toilet, heated towel rail, and quiet running extractor ceiling fan. Water and heating provided by a recently installed Combination Boiler (no shortage of hot water as no tanks needed).
The house and contents are professionally maintained at all times. Cleaning of communal areas is carried out by the tenants (every tenant must share that responsibility). There is a tenant produced cleaning rota that the tenants follow. However, the current tenants have been considering hiring a cleaner for such duties, but nothing yet confirmed. The cleaner is one that I employ to clean my other rentals in Andover.
ALL locks throughout the house are security registered with a local security firm, and I am the only person permitted to have any lock changed or key cut (must be signed for by myself). This ensured added security for the tenants.
