Double room in Southampton available 1st Sept

We are looking for a working, friendly person to move in to a double room in our four bedroom house. We are not looking for any students or DSS.

The house has two bathrooms and a large garden, and is situated in a cul-de-sac just off Winchester Road in Bassett. The room has a double bed, wardrobe, shelf and TV (if required).

You will be sharing with four working people aged 21-27. We are all British but nationality is not an issue as long as you can converse easily in English. We enjoy spending time with each other in the house but also value each others space and privacy.

We don't mind if our new housemate is male or female - we are looking for someone who is reliable with rent, easy-going and are tidy and considerate of other peoples belongings. Passive agressive note writers or grumpy recluses need not apply!

We are by no means a party house but do like to have fun with our time spent out of work and all enjoy having a chilled out house to relax in. We like to have the odd BBQ in the summer and make the most of the garden.

The area is very close to the Common and sports fields so there is plenty of green space nearby to enjoy. The house is close to a convenience store, bus stops and 5 minutes away from the M3. Parking on the road is unrestricted and we do have space for cars on the driveway.

We have a friendly cat so people with cats are welcome to apply, however we can unfortunately not accommodate dogs.

Rent is £320 per month with 1 months rent as deposit. Bills are around £80 per month, and the room is available from 1st september, although there is a possibility the room will be available a week earlier. Again, students and DSS need not get in touch and unfortunately we don't have room for couples.
