Description
This roomy bedroom has its own washbasin, a small double bed, desk, desk chair, chest of drawers, wardrobe, bedside cabinet, and several lamps. Wi-Fi and FreeSat are included. The bedroom, shared bathroom, downstairs cloakroom, kitchen and utility room have been renovated. We have a cat, so you need to be OK with animals. This is a quiet, non-smoking house.
We have plenty of off-street parking and are very conveniently located near the park and leisure centre, a 15 minute walk from the town centre, railway and bus stations, and a short drive from the M3 and M27 motorway junctions.
We're a retired couple offering the spare bedroom in our home, with shared bath, further downstairs loo, kitchen (plenty of personal cupboard space and space in fridge and freezer - as well as use of our crockery, cutlery, glasses, pots and pans, and kitchen gadgets), utility room, etc.. This is not a fully shared house.
We're friendly people, but for the most part prefer to keep ourselves to ourselves. We aim to establish a co-operative, flexible relationship with our lodgers around kitchen and bathroom use to minimise being in each other's way.
We’re dedicated to reducing our impact on the environment and ask those who share our space to conserve energy and water, and to recycle wherever possible. We garden organically, and have solar panels, a battery and an electric car. One of us is allergic to fish, so we ask that no fish be cooked in the house unless we're away.
We ask for one month’s rent as deposit; the rent is payable monthly in advance.
I'm sure you want to know something about the people you live with, and so do we. We've shared a lot about ourselves, please do the same when you respond. Please expand your proflie to include your job, age, and interests. We'll need references from your employer and your current landlord.
