Coastal Home – For Dog Lovers & Peace Seeker

have a furnished double room available in my home on a lovely quiet road right by the beach. It’s a clean, calm space, and I’m looking for someone who values a relaxed pace of life.

The House & Vibe
I work from home a few days a week and I see the house as a bit of a sanctuary. I’m definitely an early bird — I really enjoy a quiet, productive morning and tend to wind down quite early in the evenings. I have a new photography studio which I anticipate spending alot of time at over the weekends.

It’s a calm, private home rather than a social hub, but I do really value a friendly, respectful atmosphere. I’d much rather have the occasional chat in the kitchen and an easy, natural dynamic than that “passing strangers” feeling.

Because of that, it would suit someone who enjoys a considerate, low-key home environment. It’s not a party house, but with good communication and the right dynamic, I’m very relaxed — things like having a friend over for dinner now and then are absolutely fine.

Your Room
South-facing, light and bright.
There is a small double bed, shelving unit, bedside table and triple wardrobe. There is space for a small desk, a TV to be mounted and additional shelving if needed.

Good To Know
This is a typical 2 up 2 down house with the bathroom at the back of the kitchen. The stairs are a bit quirky and may require slightly careful navigation after a few vinos 🍷 Parking permit zone MG.

The Garden
There’s a lovely south-facing garden which I probably won’t get much use out of this summer. If you’re green-fingered, you’d be very welcome to potter about, add some plants, enjoy the sun, and sip on a tea or vino out there.

The Resident Dog / House Hippo 🐾
You’ll be sharing with me and my rescue Pocket Bully. She’s a big cuddly sweetheart who will absolutely want to be your friend (and may gently bully you for head scratches if allowed). It’s important that you genuinely like and feel comfortable around larger dogs.
