We have a double room available for £595pcm in a very nice, modern, tidy house share.
Note, the property is currently up for sale, I am looking for investors to buy as a rental, but unfortunately cannot guarantee this will be the case in the end and may have to sell as a family home, in which case you would receive 2 months notice before needing to move out. As such this may suit someone looking for a short term let or someone who does not need a high level of security. Note, I do not forsee this happening at least until the end of the 1st quarter next year, so there should still be many months of accommodation available here.

As this is a particularly popular property and rooms very rarely become available (this room has been occupied with the same tenant for 6 years), if you are keen I would highly recommend booking in ASAP to avoid disappointment. The suitability of the housemates is very important to us as we like to try to create a happy and comfortable living space for all our tenants. To do this, we meet all prospective tenants to show them the house and have a quick chat. Whichever person we feel will fit in the best will be accepted. Hopefully, everyone understands this is for the best. On the positive side here it does seem to work, our tenants really enjoy living at this house and stay for a long time, our usual stays are for 2-4 years.
Double room:
The room has a built-in wardrobe, chest of drawers, a bed, and under bed storage.
The Rest of the House:
We have a TV set up in the conservatory which has cable TV via Virgin media.
Kitchen with allocated cupboard/fridge/freezer space.
Separate toilet and bathroom so no waiting for someone to get out of the bath to use the loo! Bath and shower available as well as cupboard space.
There is a garden, including a decked area with seating. It’s lovely in the summer.
Superfast (200Mb) Virgin wireless broadband is included.
There is plenty of space to park to the rear of the property.
A cleaner will be provided to clean the communal areas once a week.
Location:
20-minute walk to Farnborough Main train station with a direct link to London (45 minutes).
20-minute walk to Farnborough.
5-minute drive to Camberley with cinema, bowling, shops and restaurants.
5-minute drive to M3.
Price:
£595pcm inclusive of bills. Rent is to be paid in advance before each month starts.
The holding deposit is £100, paying this will secure you the room and then the advert will be taken down. As such this is non-refundable.
The security deposit is 1 months rent, this will be held in one of the government-approved schemes as per current UK law.
The successful applicant will be subject to a credit check. Acceptance of new tenants will be subject to the credit check report.
Legal stuff:
You will also receive a legally binding contract (Assured Shorthold Tenancy) for the rental of the room, this is also as per UK law.
Right to rent check:
We will also require some forms of ID to prove a right to rent within the UK. If you do not hold a UK passport please search on Google for "Right to rent check user guide" to find the document on the government website showing a full list of acceptable documents. Unfortunately Spare Room doesn't allow links in the adverts so we cannot post the link here.
All landlords are required to assess all tenants right to reside in the UK prior to entering into a rental agreement and can be held liable to severe penalties if not completed. This is a quick easy check we can do on the spot without taking your ID away, only taking photos of it and does not cost you anything, but as stated above it is necessary by law for us to perform this check before letting the room to any tenant.
