I am looking for a reliable and considerate working professional to rent a comfortable spare room in my home. The house is a peaceful, well-maintained space, and I am looking for someone who will treat it with respect.
The Ideal Lodger:
I am seeking a professional who works out of the house during the week (standard 9–5 hours). Because I enjoy a quiet environment during the day, this role is not suitable for those who work from home.
The Arrangement (Low Rent) In exchange for a significantly reduced monthly rent, I am looking for a lodger who can provide roughly 3 hours of help per week.
This would include:
* Light cleaning of communal areas.
* General light maintenance (e. g., changing lightbulbs).
* Occasional light gardening.
About Me:
I am a retired, active live-in landlord. I keep a busy schedule and am often out playing tennis, visiting the cinema, or spending time looking after my grandchildren. I value my independence but appreciate the peace of mind that comes with having a helpful professional in the house.
