Applicants need to be socially independent as I and the other lodger are out a lot, (particularly in the summer sailing season) and when home, busy getting ready to go out again.

The house is in Hamble and if you are into sailing you will know plenty about the area. I own the house and live here. I sail, windsurf, mountain bike, road bike, am generally active and sports orientated; I fiddle with guitars and study Spanish as well. The house is a good-sized, 3-bedroomed, 70s semi-detached with a small garden, shed and garage. The room available is a 3.3m x 2.5m double with a built-in wardrobe, computer desk and chest of drawers. It has recently been painted in crisp white and has a varnished wooden floor. There is a brand new mattress and chest of drawers You will also have the use of the lounge, bathroom, kitchen, garden etc. Parking is FCFS with a driveway for 2 cars and then the street. 6 miles from central Southampton.
