Looking for a friendly full time working professional to join a relaxed, respectful household.
My brilliant lodger is moving out 😞 so I’m now looking for someone similar to move in– he is a house music fan, laid-back, tidy, and considerate.
The room is a good size, double room with a large bay window, that can come fully furnished for an additional cost. The furniture will be yours to keep.
You’ll have access to:
• A well-equipped kitchen/diner
• A south-facing garden with patio, decking, and grassy area – great for coffee or a post-work wind-down
• Bicycle storage inside (space for one bike)
• Occasional cuddles from visiting dogs (It's a dog-friendly home but not suitable for full-time pups)
It’s a sociable but chilled space – this is NOT a party house.
You'll likely fit in if you enjoy electronic music, good food and your own space as much as a good chat over coffee, beer or glass of fizz.
There’s no separate lounge, so this would suit someone who’s independent, busy and likes to come home to a relaxed chilled place.
About me:
I work full-time Monday to Friday and like to keep things pretty steady during the week.
I sometimes work away during the week, and often busy at weekends attending events or getting outdoors, so the house is mostly calm and quiet – and you’ll often have it to yourself.
At home, I’m laid-back and sociable, into good food, strong coffee, dogs (I look after a few occasionally), and electronic music. I like a home that’s relaxed, respectful, and feels like a place you can properly unwind in.
The house is kept clean and tidy, but not in an obsessive or overly strict way – just a nice, lived-in space where everyone pulls their weight and respects shared areas. I’m not looking for perfection, just someone who naturally keeps things ticking over.
