I have two double rooms available for rent in Marchwood - between Southampton and the beautiful New Forest National Park. One room is unfurnished and could be repurposed as a private living room. In addition there is a single room that can be rented as a home office (£100pcm).
The property is in Council Tax band D and has full fibre broadband, ideal for someone who wishes to work from home some/all of the time.
I am an animal lover and would welcome any pets that a tenant might want to bring, having three large dogs (20-33kg) and two cats of my own (plus an elderly cornsnake!).
Having a multi dog household brings a certain amount of hair and mud so the property is more suited to someone used to this, although the pets can certainly be kept out of your spaces if you’d like a hair-free sanctuary!
The house has an off-road driveway with space for up to 3 cars, and includes an EV charger.
The master bedroom has an en-suite, leaving the family bathroom for the tenant(s). If someone wanted to rent all three rooms and therefore have a private bathroom that would be £900pcm.
The kitchen is large and includes an air fryer, microwave, induction hob, electric double oven and full-sized fridge-freezer for the tenant(s) to use.
The garden is South-facing and a real sun trap in the summer. It also has a fish pond.
Being semi-rural this location is best suited to someone with a car, but there are three pubs and two excellent takeaways and two convenience stores in walkable range in the village, as well as an hourly bus service.
