Comfortable double room near train station.

Looking for a like minded person to share our comfortable home.
Bills included – references and deposit required

Bedroom - Good size room with double bed (medium firm mattress), 2-seater sofa, TV unit and TV, bookcase and own wash basin. Large wardrobes plus room for under bed storage and storage on top of wardrobes. Sofa could be removed to allow more space/ room for desk/other furniture.

Kitchen - well equipped kitchen, washing machine and tumble dryer (we try to be environmentally friendly and economical so please hang to dry on the line where possible). Space in fridge and freezer.

Bathroom – share bathroom but there is a separate downstairs toilet.

Attached garage – space to put wet and dirty coats and shoes etc.

Lounge / dinning area – large room with french doors to garden and a log burner

Back Garden – Lovely large garden to sit and relax in.

Front Garden – off road parking for three cars – so room for lodger to park

Location - Close to train station and high street – 7 min walk. New Milton Leisure 4 min walk.

About us - We are an active couple in our early 40’s, both self-employed so work irregular hours. We love the outdoors and animals. Our interests include horses, dogs, running, hiking, rock climbing, water sports, sea swimming, gardening.
We have a large but well-trained dog who is 5yrs old. He is not allowed upstairs and not allowed on the furniture.

Who we are looking for.

The ideal person would be happy with their own company, but you welcome to come and watch telly/socialise with us in the evenings. We like a tidy house but the reality is we are quite busy with working and hobbies so having a dog and lots of outdoor hobbies the house can get a bit messy at times when we are rushing from one thing to the other, so if you are really adverse to a bit clutter around and perhaps a bit of mud, mostly porch and garage, then this house is probably not for you. However, we do like to keep on top of it and have a good clean regularly, but it just might not be on a daily basis.

Must be a dog lover. We would love you to play with and interact with him but be happy to stick to our rules, ie no feeding table scraps, discourage jumping up etc. Possible puppy in future so again would have to he happy to be consistent with our rules so puppy becomes a well manner adult.

Similar arrangement with last lodger who stayed with us for 4 yrs in our previous home and who I am sure would give you some feedback about us if I ask her to contact you.
