About the room

It is a double room with a double bed, bed side table, 2 sets of chest of drawers, wardrobe, TV and DVD player. There is a third bedroom which is a single room which you would be able to have access to for occasional visitors. There is a shared bathroom with a bath and shower, a large kitchen with washing machine and dishwasher, a nice sized living room which has Virgin connected, a large sized conservatory which is lovely to sit in during the summer months, and a porch with shoe rack. There is broadband which you would have access to. The house is an end of terrace in a close with a green out the front. There is a nice sized garden out the back. I have 2 tortoises that live in the house. Parking is on the street not far from the house. There is no smoking in the house so all smoking is confined to either the front or back garden.

Local area

There is a bus stop at the end of the road and also a bus stop a 5-10 minute walk which is situated by the shops on Allaway Avenue. QA hospital is 1.1 miles away, Tesco and other shops are less than a mile away, Cosham Railway Station and Cosham high street is 1.6 miles away, easy access to the A27 and also the M27/M275. The centre of Portsmouth is less than 4 miles away.

About me and what to expect

I work nights during the week so a potential housemate will have the house to themselves most evenings, I just ask that they respect I will be sleeping during the days. I’m very laid back and am happy to do majority of the housework but I do expect you to clean up after yourself.

I do require £100 to hold the room which will then be taken off the first months rent.
