Homesharer Needed – Companionship and Light Practical Help

Monthly Homesharer fee: £190 pcm in exchange 10/15 hrs practical help and companionship
Location: Less than 2 miles from Portsmouth train station, approximately 7 minutes by car. The exact location will be shared with suitable candidates.

Supportmatch Homeshare is looking for a kind, reliable and friendly Homesharer to support a Householder with companionship and light practical help around the home.

The Householder would benefit from regular companionship, reassurance and general day-to-day support for approximately 10–15 hours per week.

Support may include:
Practical help around the house
Admin help and organisation
Shopping and errands
Light meal preparation
Friendly company and companionship

This is not a care role and does not involve personal care. The aim is to provide companionship, practical support and a regular reassuring presence at home.
The ideal Homesharer will be:
Friendly, calm and respectful
Reliable and trustworthy
Happy to help with light chores and admin tasks
Good at communicating
Comfortable living in someone’s home as part of a supportive Homeshare arrangement

A female Homesharer may be preferred due to the Householder’s needs and personal circumstances.

All Homesharers are carefully assessed, referenced and DBS checked as part of the Supportmatch Homeshare process.
