PhDs and Masters are the currently in the house with studies including Engineering, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Psychology, History, Aerodynamics, Physics & Biomedicine.

We also welcome European postgrads who are studying at Southampton University. Recent post grad students have been from France, Norway, Hungry & USA as well as the UK. Being all post grads there is an excellent like minded community in the house - two thirds of the people in the house have renewed for a second year (or more) in the house.

Located on a quiet residential road, the house is halfway between the University of Southampton Highfield Campus and the city centre, with Portswood at one end of the road. Southampton Common is at the other end of the road less than 5 minutes walk away. This house is well maintained and a licensed student property.

The spacious house includes a separate large lounge with TV, fully equipped kitchen plus a large entrance hall. Outdoor courtyard to side with garden to the rear, plus front drive for cars. The room is furnished with bed and bedside cabinets, wardrobe, drawers, desk and chair plus a personal basin.

The house has 9 rooms with a mixture of sizes and en-suite / non en-suite. The virtue of the house is the size which means the house never feels crowded, and there are communal spaces (lounge etc) for being social with enough space to be separate if needed. Being solid brick construction noise doesn't travel either. The communal areas - kitchen, lounge, toilets, bathrooms etc. are cleaned weekly by professional cleaners.

Gas, Water, Electricity, Council Tax and Broadband/WiFi included. The are 2 washing machines and the house is centrally heated (new boiler installed recently).

The W1 bus route has a stop just outside the house, with a 2 minute walk for the U1 and 1 buses, and a couple of minutes walk for bus routes 2, 7 and U6.
