Looking for a student to replace a current tenant, no preference on the subject or year of study. Shorthold tenancy, which will end/be renewed in July.

Move in date flexible.

Located 5 mins from Portswood, which amenities, such as supermarkets, a multitude of shops and entertainment venues. Located 10mins from Highfield Campus.

Friendly and professional landlord, who has finished a degree at the University of Southampton. Any requests, repairs or additional ideas for decorating can be brought up directly with the landlord, who will cover the costs of the purchases and labor required, upon reaching an agreement (regarding additional decorations).

This house has great social areas with a lounge and kitchen, together with spacious bedrooms.

The garden is BBQ friendly and also has a garage with secure ground anchors for storage of bikes. It has parking on the driveway at the front.

The landlord pays a number of periodic/occasional services to maintain the house in a good condition. The services payed by the landlord include but are not limited to: handyman(available for any case of damages), gardener(every few months), professional carpet cleaner (when asked).

The room is located at the second floor of the house, with a view to the garden in the back, and providing a quiet atmosphere for the tenant. It is close to the bathroom and it has ample storage space. The room will come furnished similarly to University rented accommodation(storage spaces, bed, desk, chair, curtains etc).

The pictures provided of the room in question will include the current state of the room, and how the room will be received by the next tenant(current state of the room being shown in the furbished version of the room).

This room has the notable feature of 'blackboard wall'. At the request of a previous tenant, the wall next to the bed has been coated in a special kind of paint, which makes the wall usable as a chalk board. This can be removed/painted over after requesting it from the landlord.

The landlord encourages free use of the space and items located in the garage.

Current tenants are friendly, and will organize social events with the other tenants, depending on their personal availability.
