Furnished Double Room available 24th October 2018

I have a furnished double room becoming available as of 24th October 2018 in a 3 bedroom house share. The house is mine and I would prefer someone looking to live somewhere nice and who will look after it as if it were their own.

I am 30 and often work from home, the other housemate is 22 and an intern from Germany who works standard hours. I should mention there is one other occupant; my dog who is a giant softie and never barks.

A little about us as housemates; we often cook together (though this is by no means mandatory), we regularly watch some Netflix together or go out for a drink or 2 together. I am a keen rock climber and Simon has also started climbing with me on occasion. I boulder 3-4 times a week. I also like to get out to new outdoor locations for dog walks etc. We also have some kayaks and easy access to the river itchen.

All of the downstairs space is shared with living room, dining room, kitchen and bathroom. Kitchen is well equipped though if you have a waffle maker or something that you can't live without then it is welcome.

The room is 380 pcm and this includes all amenity bills and broadband though does not include television license (we only use dvds; no aerial), nor council tax (students are exempt but young professionals are not) and does not include any cleaning materials and the like used by the house e. g. washing up liquid and loo roll.

The cleaning of the downstairs is shared equally between all of us and we have not ever had any issues to date.

The house is off the main student drag but is still close enough to everything to be convenient: 20 mins walking will see you to highfield without having to rush. 10 mins to Portswood center and about the same to Bitterne. Another huge plus is being 5 mins walk from St Denys train station.
