Friendly multicultural house,5 mins from Portswood

We are a friendly retired couple, living 5 mins from Portswood shops, in a Victorian characterful house with large garden.

Parking is available on our driveway., and there is storage for bikes in our locked garden shed.

We have three rooms to rent that suit quiet professionals or PHD/ mature graduate students.

The rooms have recently been refurbished and come with double beds, two out of three have their own shower.. More furniture can be provided to suit. Self catering facilities include kettle, toaster, and utensils in the room.. There is an electric oven with double hob, microwave and fridges on the upper landing directly outside the rooms, and on the lower landing. Use of washing machine & well equipped kitchen, and additional freezer space also available. There is a downstairs lodgers lounge with sofa, table, tv and bay window, Our garden has a seating area and washing line. We welcome anyone with an interest in gardening, sharing occasional meals, & the arts. We are happy if any lodgers wish to play our piano!

We are 5 minutes' walk to a giant Sainsbury's, Portswood shops cafes and buses. The house is 15 minutes walk to the University of Southampton and 7 minutes to St Denys Station.

Room has double bed, own basin, and self catering facilities. Microwave, electric cooker with oven, fridge and bathroom are on landing immediately outside the room. Spacious garden with shed which has space for lodger's bicycle. Monday to Friday lodgers considered.
