The only shared space will be the substantial kitchen. See pics. You would have most of upstairs, except the second bathroom. I occupy downstairs, so this suits someone affable and sociable whilst cooking etc, but enjoys their privacy too, like me. You have full use of all kitchen appliances which include washing machine and tumble dryer etc

My house is 3 mins walk to Romsey train station

By train, Southampton Central is about 12 minutes, Salisbury about 25 minutes, London Waterloo 1hr 40 mins ( though just over an hour from Winchester Station which is a 20 minute drive from here, I do this a lot ! ) Great train links to Bath, Bristol, Cardiff, Bournemouth.

Car

Driving 15 mins to M3 at Winchester, from there about an hour to London area. 5 minutes to M27
New New Forest is 15 mins drive, Test Valley just up the road.

Southampton airport 20 mins by direct train, 20 mins by car.
