I have a spacious, furnished double room available in my home in Shirley, within easy walking distance of Shirley High Street, with good access to Southampton city centre and Southampton General Hospital.
I am the live-in landlady and am looking for a quiet, friendly and considerate lodger who would enjoy living in a relaxed home rather than a large shared house.
The room is furnished with a double bed, bedside table, drawers, desk and chair, and wardrobe.
You would share the bathroom and modern, well-equipped kitchen with me. There is also a garden, and parking is available on the street.
The rent is £600 per calendar month and includes utilities, Council tax, broadband, TV, and a cleaner who comes fortnightly to help keep the shared areas clean.
Deposit: £600.
The room is for single occupancy only and would particularly suit a professional, PhD or Masters student.
I’m looking for someone who is quiet, considerate and reasonably tidy, and who would like a peaceful, settled place that feels like a home. I tend to prefer a relatively quiet household, so this would suit someone looking for the same rather than a busy or party-oriented house.
