Hi! We currently have a double sized room available in our recently re-decorated home, in the Regent's Park area of Southampton and are looking for someone nice to live in it.
The house is in South Mill Road. There are local bus routes to the city centre and central train station within 5 minutes, and Shirley high street is a 10 minute walk away. There are two large supermarkets within walking distance. Motorway access is close by and there is parking available in the road (no permits).
If you become one of our lodgers, you’ll have access to fibre optic broadband (around 100mbps), our comfy lounge with TV/DVD and a good sized back garden. We have one large shared bathroom upstairs, a downstairs toilet, and a utility room with a washing machine, tumble dryer and freezer space. We also have a dishwasher. Use of all this is included in the rent.
All bills and council tax are included in the rent. Couples are an extra £50 pcm (to cover the bills). We will consider housing benefit, however you must be working.
A bit about us – we are Ben and Laura. We have lived in our house for over 5 years and have had lodgers for most of that time (up until August 2017, when we had building work carried out). We are an easy going, low drama couple with an active outdoor lifestyle.
