The house was built in 2011 and is situated half way down Sirdar Road (road joining Granby Grove below the Library) on the very sought after new houses tucked quietly out of the way from the main road on Sirdar Mews which is 8 minutes walk to the main campus.

All housemates are Postgrads.

One fully furnished double rooms (£113/week - £490/month) is available from 16th September due to the current tenant completing their studies. There is a good level of storage space and there is also a separate storage room in the house for suitcases etc and the small rear garden and covered patio comes as part of this room.

The house is a well maintained house with two bathrooms so no more than three per bathroom. There is also a TV socket and ethernet socket in each bedroom. Showers are powerful and run directly from a highly efficient boiler so endless hot water. The kitchen is fully equipped with quality appliances including a dishwasher, two large fridge/freezers, washing machine, TV, and a balcony with large sliding glass doors.

The area is very safe especially and the house is set back from Sirdar road so people don’t walk or drive past the house. There is also a secure lockable bike store at the front of the property. The green communal area is maintained for all Sirdar Mews residents.

Bills are approximately £40/month due to good house insulation, efficient combi gas heating/hot water (no stored hot water so always available). Water, Broadband, and TV licence are included in the rent. Bills are calculated for you and then emailed.

There is a bus stop one minute away which goes direct to the City Centre via Portswood High Street. Portswood High Street is just ten minutes walk with One Stop two minutes away. The house also has its own off free road parking and is set back from Sirdar Road so no traffic or pedestrians walk past the house.

For your piece of mind, deposits are always returned as things do actually break or need replacing. Unlike many, deposits are not seen this as an end of contract bonus.
