Description
Pros:
🏠 The room is quite spacious, larger than Hampton. There's plenty of fresh air.
📦 There are plenty of cabinets for ample storage.
🛀 There's always hot water available, both in the bathroom and kitchen.
❗️ The dormitory school wifi is fantastic, no need to worry about not having campus internet when writing papers.
🚌 Right outside is the bus stop, U1C goes directly to school, and living in the school apartment, you can ride Unilink and bluestar buses for free.
The laundry room is well-equipped, washing costs £2.7, and drying £1.2. Next to it is a social area that's quite new.
There's a park nearby, Riverside Park, where you can feed swans!
🍴 There are plenty of supermarkets nearby.
Cons:
The lighting is dim, there are many small flying insects🦟, and the overall facilities are quite old.
The carpet is hard to clean, and the vacuum cleaner in the apartment... well, it's very dirty.
One flat houses 7 families, and the kitchen gets very crowded if there are more than 3 people! If everyone wants to play games together, the kitchen is packed.
The shared kitchen is hard to describe. But this really depends on your roommates, some are very clean, but some don't clean up after themselves, so it's always greasy. Everyone has different habits, so if you're particular about cleanliness, it's recommended to live in a studio.
