We have two newly-decorated double rooms ready to rent out in a spacious 4 bedroom semi-detached house in the Bassett/Highfield area of Southampton. The larger master bedroom comes fully furnished with a king size bed, bedside drawers, 2 x double built in wardrobes, a desk and chair, and overlooks a well-presented front garden. The smaller double room comes fully furnished with a double bed, bedside drawers, wardrobe, desk and chair, and overlooks a well-presented rear garden.

There is ample free on-street parking on our road (there’s always plenty of spaces) and we have a secure store for bikes, paddle boards etc.

All bills are included. Excellent wifi. The TVs in the lounge, kitchen and garden room all have Netflix/Amazon Prime/Disney + apps etc.

Ground Floor:
The ground floor of the main house consists of 3 large separate reception rooms (a dual-aspect lounge, dining room and spacious extended kitchen diner), plus a cloakroom and downstairs WC. In the garden, there is a spacious garden room which we have fully-kitted out as a second lounge.

First Floor:
The Master bedroom (available to rent), 3 more double bedrooms (1 of which is the smaller double room available to rent) and the bathroom, which boasts a Burlington waterfall shower and roll top bath.

Front of property:
Driveway with electric gates and a presentable front garden.

Back of property:
Excellent-sized and well-kept garden with a large patio, lawn, multiple seating areas, a fire pit and BBQ area. We’ve also added borders with lots of pretty planting.

Location:
Easy to get to the M3 and M27, a 15 min drive to the New Forest, walking distance to the University of Southampton and close to 5 bus routes that take you to Portswood, Southampton City centre, both universities, Eastleigh and Romsey. We are also just a 5 min taxi ride away from Southampton Parkway train station and the Airport.

We are a young professional couple who enjoy socialising as well as having quiet evenings. The house is perfect for entertaining but it’s also a very relaxing and calm place if you fancy a quiet night in or need to study. We enjoy a good natter after work to unwind; we’re also respectful of your space if you just want some peace after a hard day at work/studying! I enjoy gardening, DIY, arts and crafts, attempting to keep fit and true crime! My boyfriend is obsessed with golf, football and true crime/documentaries! We love exploring the New Forest, swimming, socialising, TV, cinema and theatre, cooking, dining out and the odd night out every once in a while ☺️.

We’re looking for two lodgers (mature students or working professionals) and we’re flexible on moving in/out dates. If you’re someone who needs a place for a couple of weeks, or a month or two before moving into another property, that’s no problem. If you’re looking for something longer term, that’s also fine 😊.
