Hi, I'm Ollie. I'm looking for a flatmate to rent a spacious king-sized bedroom in a beautiful mid-terrace house in Southsea.
The house is a 3-bed property but will only have 2 occupants in total as the 3rd bedroom is used for storage. It has a nice sized lounge which contains 2 bookshelves on either side of the fireplace and an HD TV.
The bedroom comes furnished with a new king-sized bed and 4-drawer divan base, 2 built-in wardrobes on either side of the chimney breast, and a wooden chest of drawers in the bay window.
There is a bathroom solely for the occupant. This is located next to the bedroom and is equipped with a shower, bath and heated towel rail. This would be the tenant's own bathroom, but it is not technically an ensuite (see floorplan photo). I shower downstairs in the 2nd bathroom.
The kitchen is equipped with a gas stove, electric oven and dishwasher. The kitchen leads out to a utility area equipped with a washing machine and tumble dryer. There is a shower and toilet coming off this utility area, (this is the bathroom I use).
The dining room has a large 4—to 6-seater table, and the garden leads off this room, which has a small shed and outdoor table. (Plant lovers are welcome, as I could use help with the plants!)
About the location:
Situated within a 5-minute walking distance of local shops at the Pompey Centre where there is a large Tesco, Aldi and Lidl. A 10-minute walk to Albert Road's to bars and restaurants. Plus, within a 15-minute walk to the beach.
It's under a 10-minute walk to Fratton Train Station where you can get trains direct to London Waterloo.
The house is situated in a car parking permit area, and spaces are very easy to find compared to most terraced streets in Portsmouth.
The price:
The rent for the room is £800. This includes all bills plus a cleaner every 2 weeks to clean both bathrooms and the kitchen.

About me:
I am 36 years old and work in an engineering company in Portsmouth. I also run my own freelance graphic design company.
In my spare time I enjoy golf, yoga, swimming and dancing.
I am looking to live with someone who shares similar values to me. I am conscientious, tidy and good fun.
