Hello,
I'm looking for a lodger for a lovely double room in my 2 bed house in Southsea. I have a small, friendly dog who comes to the office with me. I split my time WFH and going into the office.
Please note that the room is not suitable for pets.
My house is located just off Albert Road which has plenty of shops, cafes, restaurants etc and main bus routes. 5 minute walk to the Kings Theatre. Only a 20 minute walk to the sea front, 15/20 minute walk to train station. Walking distance to hovercraft and ferries.
The available bedroom is at the back of the house, overlooking the garden. The room comes furnished with a comfy double bed, mirror, bedside table and wardrobe. There is space for another piece of furniture if you would like to bring one e. g. a desk, armchair etc.
Shared use of fully equipped kitchen, downstairs bathroom, dining/living room and lovely little garden with patio table and chairs. Kitchen is due to be completely refurbished this summer so will be brand new when you move in.
Please note that I have a Miniature Labradoodle. Therefore, the room is not suitable for those with a dislike or fear of dogs, as she has free access to the rest of the house. She is extremely friendly, but does bark at the doorbell.
The room is available from 29th August 2026 - I can be flexible with this date.
The room is not suitable for couples, smokers or pets.
On street permit parking.
£625 per month (Full time - 7 days a week)
£500 per month (Monday afternoon - Friday morning)
All bills included, including council tax and WiFi.
