Description

This is a lovely, well cared for, well decorated house in Southsea which is just a ten minute walk to the sea. There is a park on the sea front offering boating, tennis courts, mini golf, and many other activities. We are also a ten minute walk from Southsea pier where you can get the best fish and chips in town, overlooking the sea.

All the rooms are large doubles and they are fully fitted with good quality beds, wardrobes and chests of drawers.

The carpets and blinds are in good condition and everything will be completely cleaned when you move in.

The kitchen is fully fitted and has a good, almost new cooker with hood, washing machine and an almost new fridge freezer which was purchased two years ago.
There is a little communal dining room which has a table and chairs and will have a sofa and two small armchairs. This is conveniently next to the kitchen.

There is a garden at the back which has been concreted over so is easy maintainance but has a washing line and is great for barbeques during the warmer weather. If you wish to smoke, this may be done outside.

The bathroom is fitted with a good shower and there are the normal safety aspects of fire protection such as smoke and Co2 detectors. It is fully licensed for students and completely up to-date with gas certificates and smoke and Co2 detectors.

We do also have one room which is dedicated to storage for our paint and equipment but where you may leave any cases, bikes etc during term time.

We are looking for quiet and responsible students who wish to use this house as a good quiet place to work and get the best from their University education at Portsmouth so second year or MA students would be very welcome.

At the moment three rooms have been taken. The last room is the largest and the brightest and is £360.00 pcm.

There is a short walk to the University bus stop which will take you directly to the Uni. There are several other buses to take you to the City centre or the main shopping centre in Gun Wharf Quays.

The house is a short walk to Albert Road where there is a good music venue, several private restaurants for breakfast, lunch and dinner and a Pizza Hut take away just a few minutes away. The Co-op is the main supermarket just five minutes walk from the house. There are other large supermarkets in town and taxi rides are very reasonable

Our contracts finish at the end of July to allow for attendance at festivals, and graduation ceremonies.

This house falls under Council Tax Band B which is exempt for full time students. Only full time students will be accepted.
