Professional Lodger – En-Suite Room in Beautiful, Very Quiet Country House

I am offering a Monday–Friday lodger arrangement (Monday night to Thursday morning only) in a large, elegant 4,000 sq ft country house set in a very quiet rural location, with a large garden and plenty of surrounding walking space.

The accommodation is a spacious double bedroom with its own en-suite bathroom, ideal for a professional who works away from home during the day and wants a calm, high-quality base during the working week.

The house offers:
• Large en-suite double bedroom
• On-site private parking
• Wi-Fi
• Use of kitchen by agreement
• Access to the swimming pool during summer months
• Large garden and extensive walking space
• Very quiet, peaceful setting
• Two friendly dogs in residence
• Well-maintained, high-quality home environment

In-room facilities:
• A private TV may be used in the bedroom
• Streaming services such as Netflix, Prime, etc. are welcome
• Sky TV is not provided

Practicalities:
• Monday night to Thursday morning only (no weekends)
• Utilities, council tax and Wi-Fi included
• Lodger provides their own food
• Lodger does their own personal laundry
• Bed linen and towels provided
• I will launder bedding provided the bed is stripped
• No overnight guests
• No working from home – this is a residential let only

Important – Smoking:
This is a smoker’s house. Smoking is permitted in one designated room only. This is non-negotiable, so please only enquire if you are comfortable with this.

This arrangement would suit a mature, respectful professional who is out at work during the day, is comfortable around dogs, and values peace, space and a well-run home rather than a shared-house atmosphere.

Rent: £1,000 per month (Monday–Friday)
