Comfortable, quiet double room in smart flat

I have a bright, clean, comfortable, furnished double bedroom to let in my flat in Hyde, Winchester.

I have owned the flat for a few years now, and have taken the time to renovate it and make it my first own home, which I really love and am very proud of. It’s a special place, quiet and comfortable with stunning views across the local landscape, and mostly East-facing so the rooms get bathed in sunlight from early morning through to early afternoon.

The flat is very conveniently located approximately 6-9 minutes’ walk from Winchester Station (depending on walking pace!) and about 10 minutes’ easy walk down Hyde Street to the City Centre. There’s a bus stop right outside on the main road which either leads down to Winchester/Eastleigh/Southampton or the other way goes up to King’s Worthy/Basingstoke.

I’d love to meet someone who’s keen to rent a room but enjoy a home; it’s my sanctuary, designed to relax and enjoy after work days and time away, so if you like to keep a tidy and clean home, share a space with someone kind and fun, it might be for you!

I’m originally from London, and worked there in a tech/I. T. job until a year ago - it’s actually commutable, although I prefer the pace of Winchester life now. I’m open-minded, cheerful, optimistic, friendly and happy to meet people to see if we click easily.
