Bright Single Room in Quiet Home, Bills incl.

A pleasant room in a tidy 3 bedroom house in Winchester. Furnished, with shared kitchen, garden and bathroom, plus a spare toilet.

Around 40 minutes walk or 15 minutes by bus to the city centre, and about 20 minutes walk or 7 minutes by bus to the hospital and university. About 5 minutes walk to the supermarket and 2 minutes walk to the bus stop where the No. 5 bus runs every 10 minutes.

The house has air conditioning for hot days and a dishwasher for convenience. Free internet and all bills included.

We currently have 2 people living in the house. One will be moving to Manchester for around 6 months from early June and may be in and out during that time. The other is the landlord (myself), and I travel quite frequently, so you can expect a good amount of personal space.

It is a relatively quiet, friendly and tidy household. We enjoy travelling and reading, and you are very welcome to try our cooking. On very rare occasions we may have overnight visitors, this will be communicated with you in advance, and we will make sure there are never more than 4 people in total in the house.

We also have a small ragdoll cat who is the long term resident here, so hopefully you are a cat fan or at least happy to live with one. She is very polite and keeps a strict daily schedule. Her bedtime is around 11pm and she usually wakes up at 6am, sometimes checking in to make sure everyone is doing okay. She can be quite clingy and enjoys company.

The room has a single bed, so it is suitable for one person only. Overnight guests are fine if agreed in advance. We are currently only accepting female housemates. Students or those in Winchester for industrial placement are very welcome.
