I have a single room with ensuite and private living room to rent in Woolston. The room comprises of two adjoining rooms and an ensuite on the first floor of a semi-detached house on a quiet road close to Woolston high-street.
The room is part-furnished with a compact wardrobe and TV-cabinet in a private living room. You may be able to fit a double-bed in the bedroom but I would not recommend it: the room would suit a single-bed much better.
Transport links into Southampton are good with the number 17 offering a direct bus service into town in about 20-40 minutes depending on traffic. There are bicycle paths and prioritised traffic crossing schemes which help make cycling into town enjoyable and hassle free.
I am looking for a concenscious tenant who will help to keep shared areas clean and tidy and who doesn't mind living in a house where there are minor building works going on for the first few months.
My intention is to advertise for more tenant(s) in the next 1-2 months. I am aiming to move out and become a live-out landlord in the medium-term.
There is parking space on a drive for a moped or motorbike but unfortunately no parking for a car or van. There is secure cycle storage.
As a live-in landlord you will find me quiet, generally reserved and slow at getting to know new people and otherwise mostly keeping myself-to-myself undertaking the above mentioned building works anyway. I can't promise the building works will be quiet and limited to painting and decorating; so it means the room is unlikely to suit anyone looking to work from home. In my spare time I like mountain biking and relaxing watching TV.
Bills are included. Broadband is not included and you will need to organise your own 5G broadband if you want wi-fi.
