Gorgeous extra large room with en suite. It comes fully furnished including a king size bed with storage underneath. Furniture includes a large wardrobe, drawers, armchair and two bedside tables. I have no problem if you want to add furniture such as a desk. Above the fireplace is a TV point for a wall mounted TV - I’m happy for you to organise one to be fitted if you’d prefer that to a painting! Double glazing and central heating.

Shared areas include the kitchen which has all the mod cons - washing machine, dishwasher, induction hob, double oven, microwave and air fryer. You would have your own fridge and cupboard space. The dining room, laundry room and garden / patio will also be shared spaces. I have a very large, secure garage and I’d be happy for you to store some small items in there.

Private spaces include the living room, two other bedrooms, downstairs cloakroom and main bathroom. The kitchen is having a full refurbishment in September so will also include a TV, living space and island for eating meals.

If you have a small car we can fit two on the drive, if not, parking is on the road directly outside the house. No restricted parking.

Bassingbourn is a lovely village with two pubs, a doctors, pharmacy, hairdressers, coffee shop and Spar convenience store 10 yards away. There is a bus service and it is possible to walk to Royston but I would say a bike or car is needed! It’s about a 5 minute drive to a large Tesco, 7 minutes to Royston station where you can get to Cambridge in 14 mins and London in 38 mins.

Whilst I am in the heart of the village, the surrounding areas are rural with some beautiful routes for walking or running. Costa, Greggs, M&S and Aldi are a 5 minute drive / 45 minute walk.

I have cats who are absolutely adorable and love cuddles. They are outdoor cats so no litter trays, and have a private eating area so no cat food smells! However if you are allergic or don’t like cats please do not apply!!

I work mainly in London but work from home a couple of days a week if I can. I’m very relaxed and sociable but equally love my own space! I’d be respectful to anyone living here as I’d want them to feel it’s also their home. I’d say I’m a young 45 year old - I don’t know what constitutes old! But I’m fun, positive and friendly… and always up for wine, cheese and a board game night! I am out doing exercise or with friends most evenings and often away at weekends.

NOTE: if you would prefer a Sun - Thurs let (5 nights) I am open to this. The monthly price for this would be £680 inclusive of ALL bills.

I will only accept professional workers, who either work wholly or part week in the office! I’d ideally like a tenant who has a life as busy as me so we both have time alone in the house!
